Below you will find all of my favourite brands for safer, cleaner and more sustainable health, beauty and household products. I’ve also included some great educational resources to help you and your family minimise your chemical exposure, whilst maximising your health.
Bath and Beauty
The products listed below are largely free of harsh chemicals and other nasty ingredients, such as phthalates, petrochemicals, parabens, SLS and EDTA. Many of these are plant-based and contain certified organic ingredients. As always, its best to check the ingredients before you buy (especially if you have particular sensitivities or allergies), as occasionally ingredients may change.

Other Top Stuff
Building Biology: A wonderful resource by Nicole Bijlsma to help you learn how your environment (aka your home and office) may be affecting your health. Here you can learn how to reduce your chemical exposure at home. Her sections on Plastics, Make-up and Personal Care Products are particularly useful!
Skin Deep: The Skin Deep Database by the EWG is a fabulous resource for those interested in learning more about the chemicals in their skincare. It also has a great search function which can be used to research individual ingredients, to learn about or investigate any associated hazards.
